After graduating from the University of British Columbia, School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, where he was a student researcher for the Living with Water project, Benji started working for Tsleil-Waututh Nation as a consultant, initiating the Kelp Restoration Pilot. Helping to ensure that design strategies incorporate both western and Indigenous coastal technologies as well as support local biodiversity.
